- These Terms

3.3 Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. If you have any questions, contact us before proceeding.
- Investment Risk Warning
4.1 The value of precious metals fluctuates. The price of Goods you purchase from us may go down as well as up, and you may not be able to sell them for a higher price than the price you paid.
4.2 Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. You should not invest more than you can afford to lose.
4.3 We do not provide financial advice. Our services are limited to the supply and storage of physical precious metals. If you are unsure whether precious metals are suitable for your circumstances, you should seek independent financial advice.
4.4 Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change in the future. While certain UK legal tender gold coins are currently exempt from Capital Gains Tax, this exemption is not guaranteed to continue.
- Placing an Order
5.1 You can make an enquiry about our products by telephone, through our website, or by email. We will provide you with all information required to place an order, including product details, pricing, and payment instructions.
5.2 An order is placed when you confirm your selection and agree to the quoted price. We will send you an Order Confirmation by email or post.
5.3 A binding contract is formed between us when we issue the Order Confirmation. The price confirmed at the point of order is the price you pay, regardless of any subsequent movement in the spot price of gold or silver.
5.4 We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including where we are unable to verify your identity or where we suspect fraudulent activity.
- Pricing
6.1 All prices quoted by us are inclusive of any applicable VAT. Investment-grade gold (22 carat and above) is exempt from VAT. Silver and certain other precious metals are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
6.2 Our prices reflect the live spot price of the relevant metal at the time of your order, plus our margin. The margin covers sourcing, certification, handling, insurance, and brokerage.
6.3 We will always confirm the total price payable before you commit to an order. There are no hidden fees.
- Payment
7.1 Payment must be made by bank transfer to the account details provided in your Order Confirmation. We do not accept payment by credit card, cash, or cryptocurrency.
7.2 Payment must be received in cleared funds before we dispatch or allocate your Goods. We will notify you once payment has been received.
7.3 We only accept payment from an account held in your name (solely or jointly). Payments from third-party accounts will be returned.
7.4 If payment is not received within five Working Days of your Order Confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel your order and requote at the prevailing market price.
- Identity Verification
8.1 We are required to comply with anti-money laundering legislation and may request proof of identity and proof of address before processing your order.
8.2 For all orders over five thousand pounds (£5,000), we will require identity verification documentation. We may also request verification for orders below this threshold at our discretion.
8.3 Acceptable documents include a valid passport or driving licence (identity) and a recent utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months (address).
8.4 We will process your documentation in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you do not provide the required documents within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
- Delivery
9.1 If you choose delivery, we will arrange fully insured, tracked dispatch to the address you provide. We will notify you of the expected delivery date and provide a tracking reference.
9.2 Delivery is typically within five to ten Working Days of cleared payment, although this may vary depending on product availability and grading requirements.
9.3 All deliveries are fully insured from the point of dispatch until delivery is confirmed. Risk in the Goods passes to you upon delivery.
9.4 You must ensure that a named individual is available to sign for the delivery. We cannot leave packages unattended. If delivery is unsuccessful after two attempts, the Goods will be returned to our secure facility and we will contact you to arrange redelivery.
9.5 You are responsible for inspecting the Goods upon receipt. If there is any visible damage to the packaging, please note this with the courier and contact us immediately.
- Storage
10.1 If you choose vault storage, your Goods will be held in an LBMA-approved, fully insured secure vault facility.
10.2 Your Goods are allocated to you specifically and are segregated from our own holdings and those of other clients. You retain full legal ownership of your Goods at all times while in storage.
10.3 Storage fees, if applicable, will be communicated to you at the time of purchase and detailed in your Order Confirmation. Storage fees are payable annually in advance.
10.4 You may request delivery of stored Goods to your nominated address at any time, subject to reasonable notice. Delivery costs will be quoted at the time of your request.
10.5 We will provide you with regular statements confirming the Goods held in storage on your behalf.
- Cancellation
11.1 Due to the fluctuating nature of precious metal prices, you do not have a statutory right to cancel an order for Goods once a binding contract has been formed, in accordance with Regulation 28(1)(b) of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
11.2 We do not accept cancellations of confirmed orders or returns of Goods, except where the Goods are faulty or misdescribed (see section 13 below), or where we have agreed to buy back the Goods under the terms set out in section 14.
11.3 If you wish to discuss your order before it is dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible. While we are not obliged to cancel a confirmed order, we will always try to find a reasonable solution.
- Your Rights
12.1 The Goods we supply must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. We are under a legal duty to supply Goods that conform with our contract with you.
12.2 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable legislation.
- Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
13.1 If any Goods you receive are faulty or do not match their description, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within thirty (30) days of delivery.
13.2 If the Goods are confirmed as faulty or misdescribed, you are entitled to a full refund for those Goods, including any delivery costs you paid.
13.3 We may ask you to return the faulty Goods to us. We will cover the cost of return postage and provide a prepaid, insured shipping label.
13.4 Refunds for faulty or misdescribed Goods will be processed within fourteen (14) Working Days of us receiving the returned Goods and confirming the fault.
- Buy Back Policy
14.1 We offer a Buy Back Policy on all Goods originally purchased from Liquid Asset Group. This is a discretionary service and is not a contractual guarantee of repurchase.
14.2 To request a buy back, contact your account manager or our main office by telephone or email. We will provide a no-obligation appraisal and quote.
14.3 The buy back price we offer will reflect the prevailing market conditions at the time of your request. The value of your Goods may be lower than the price for which you originally purchased them.
14.4 For standard bullion (bars and ungraded coins), we will offer a price based on the live spot price of the relevant metal at the time of appraisal, less our buy back margin.
14.5 For PCGS or NGC graded coins, we will offer a price based on the spot price of gold at the time of appraisal plus a premium reflective of the coin’s grade, rarity, and current collector market conditions.
14.6 We will confirm our buy back offer in writing by email or letter. The offer will remain valid for three (3) Working Days from the date of issue. After this period, we reserve the right to requote at the prevailing market price.
14.7 If you accept our offer, you must return the Goods to the address we specify. You are responsible for ensuring the Goods arrive at our premises in the same condition as communicated. We strongly recommend using a fully insured delivery service.
14.8 Payment will be made to your nominated bank account within five (5) Working Days of us receiving and inspecting the returned Goods, provided they match the condition described.
14.9 We reserve the right to revise or withdraw our buy back offer if the Goods arrive in a different condition to that described, including but not limited to: damaged packaging, broken tamper-proof grading cases, signs of tampering, or any discrepancy in weight or purity.
14.10 The Buy Back Policy does not apply to Goods purchased from third parties, even if the Goods are of the same type or specification as products we supply.
14.11 We are not obliged to buy back any Goods and may decline a buy back request at our discretion.
- Limitation of Liability
15.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
15.2 We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from or in connection with your purchase of Goods from us.
15.3 We are not liable for any loss arising from fluctuations in the market price of precious metals.
15.4 Our total liability to you in respect of any order shall not exceed the total price you paid for the Goods in that order.
- Force Majeure
16.1 We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, government action, fire, flood, transport disruption, or failure of third-party suppliers or carriers.
16.2 If a force majeure event continues for more than thirty (30) days, either party may terminate the affected order by written notice.

18.2 We take all complaints seriously and aim to resolve any issues within fourteen (14) Working Days.
18.3 If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to an appropriate alternative dispute resolution provider or take legal action through the courts.
- Data Protection
19.1 We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
19.2 Full details of how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information are set out in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
